The guys at TradersDynamicIndex.com sent me a free version of the new Triple Traders Dynamic Index (TTDI) Expert Advisor to try out and review the other day and I have to say im very impressed!
After loading it into the Metatrader strategy tester and backtesting as much as I could in the M1 timeframe (as this is the only timeframe it willallow itself to work in) it was a constant uphill for my account! I started by setting the RISK setting in then EA’s options to 10 and found it produced a humble profit. of about 12% in just over a month. The drawdown from it was very low, a tiny 3% which seemed a very small amount to risk to get a nice tidy profit!
I then moved on to try it at higher levels. As expected the drawdown increased but so did the profit. Putting the EA into RISK setting 25 left me with just over 30% profit for a month! This was brilliant! A drawdown of 8% still wasnt scary though as I felt that risk was fine, I like to live dangerously!
I did however go mad and try setting it too RISK setting 100 but the EA lost almost 3 quarters of the account holding onto dodgy trades before bouncing back to make a ridiculous profit of $200,000 (2,000%). I wouldn’t run this setting on a real account unless you are running some sort of experiment that could make you rich or loose all the accounts capital!
I definitely recommend this Traders Dynamic Index software for any Forex trader. The $99 price can easily be made back from a $1000 account on a low RISK setting in just a week. A fine investment for any Forex trader that is having trouble controlling their emotions during trading or who want to leave it trading all the time to make a strong constant income even while away from the computer.
