This intuitive interface includes “Explore” panel, which helps me to find SWF files quickly based on directory structure, and all SWF files included in folder will be listed below; “Preview” window is placed in the obvious position, it can play Flash/Flash video, view thumbnail and large image; “Information” window lists the information of current selected SWF file; “Export” panel, which can get the required files, file formats from the original SWF by clicking different button, and even export SWF to FLA, or extract resource in batch mode.
From the “Explore” window, find the SWF file which I want to decompile:
After I select SWF file, it will play on the preview window; and then, click the file name to open SWF resources on the “Export” panel; all the SWF elements will be decompiled automatically and displayed by category.
Here, I can click any button or switch the tab to get my wanted file or file formats, such as Exporting FLA/FLEX, Converting to XFL File, Exporting SWF Resources, Converting Flash to HTML5 and Editing Flash Movie.
- Exporting FLA/FLEX
Convert the target SWF to FLA or Flex, just click the “Export FLA/FLEX” button from the “Export” panel, and then you will see the following popup box.
You can choose export the SWF file to FLA or FLEX (depending on your original SWF).
- Converting to XFL File
When you want to convert a SWF to XFL, in the “Export FLA/FLEX” dialog box, you should choose “Export as Flash CS5 (11.0) format” in the “Export Version” drop-down list.
When the SWF has been converted to FLA, you need to rename its file extension from “fla” to “zip”, as follows:
Finally, unzip the file and you will get all the XFL, XML files and resources.
- Exporting SWF Resources
In the “Export” panel, select the SWF resources that you want to export and click the “Export Resources” button, and then the following popup window will appear:
What you need to do is setting the export path and choosing the export file format, and then click “Extract” to export the desired SWF resources.
- Converting Flash to HTML5
Select the resources which can be converted to HTML format in “Export” panel; click “Export Resources” button to open the following popup window, and choose *.svg or *.html format to export resources.
- Editing Flash Movie
In “Export” panel, choose resource which needs to be replaced, click “Edit” button to open “Edit” panel; choose a new resource to take the place of the original element; if you are satisfied with this changes, click “Save” button to save SWF.
