Review Of Get Dressed, Not Stressed
Get Dressed, Not Stressed is the first book produced by a lady, who I had heard on radio interviews over the past few years. I always liked the “down to earth” and practical way in which she talked about Image Consulting and Fashion.
I found her website and bought a copy of this Get Dressed, Not Stressed book. I have not been disappointed. She writes in much the same way as she speaks and she makes sense.
In this Get Dressed, Not Stressed ebook, Rita explains exactly what Image & Style really means. She understands that most women don’t like the way that they look and the clothes in their wardrobes. She also understands that most of us will never look like the people in magazines and fashion shows. What she does best of all, is outline “doable” ways to start looking better in our clothes.
It is not a diet and exercise book – it is a book that offers hints and tips for real people.
She talks about how to work out what really does suit your own body – something that fashion companies seem to forget. She actually encourages you NOT to buy things that are “in” and to wait for something that suits you.
She explains how colour works. Not just what is popular, but the background and use of colour in clothing, accessories and make-up.
In this useful book, Rita talks about the difference between fashion and investment dressing. She really seems to care about how people feel about themselves and their appearance.
She does not try to change you. She wants you to learn how to make the most of you and how you look. She is very persistent throughout the Get Dressed, Not Stressed book that everyone can look and feel good – she shows you ways to make it all come together.
It’s great and it works!
