Easy2Sync for Outlook Review – Sync your PST files and desktop PC
Publisher: synchronize your Outlook
When you’re using Microsoft Outlook on several computers, you’re bound to have a problem: You want to have the same data on all computers. You want to synchronize them.
And that’s what Easy2Sync for Outlook is for. This Windows application checks your computers and notices anything you changed and replicates this change on the other computers. For example, if you created a new contact on your desktop computer, Easy2Sync for Outlook also creates this contact on your notebook. Of course this also works for editing or deleting contacts. (Or emails.)
The good thing about Easy2Sync for Outlook is that it doesn’t require any servers and is highly configurable. You decide whether you want to have it sync your Outlook e-mails, contacts, notes, tasks and appointments automatically or manually. With or without your confirmation.
What I described so far is just the normal “synchronization” mode. But the program offers several other modes, too. You can use it to create a backup of your data or to merge several individual calendars into one big “team calendar” (or “team contacts folder”).
And it also supports Exchange servers. This may seem unnecessary, but there are several good uses for this option. You can sync two Exchange accounts on different servers. Or you can sync two different calendar folders, which is often necessary to get an iPhone or Blackberry sync running (because their sync programs insist on using certain folders).
To sum it up, Easy2Sync for Outlook is an extremely versatile tool which can synchronize your Outlook. And much more.
