Review Of Childbirth Preparation Handbook
Being a new mother is scary and the best way to calm your nerves is to educate yourself and find a peace of mind knowing what to expect in the days to come. One of the best sources of information that I have found is this book:”Childbirth Preparation Handbook”.
Childbirth Preparation Handbook starts out with helping you through the last trimester of your pregnancy including what to expect in the hospital and useful ways to make delivery easier and choices you need to make beforehand. I especially found the hospital checklist useful to make sure I had everything ready to go when the special day comes.
It also has some great information on breastfeeding and nutrition for your baby’s first year. This is very crucial time for your baby’s development and being up to date on what is recommended for your child will help you to nurture a healthy and happy baby.
Although I grew up knowing the basics of what to expect in my pregnancy and babysit as a teen, I wanted to be a great mom. This book “Childbirth Preparation Handbook” helped me to do that and I’m very grateful. There is so many things that you don’t learn without going through it yourself and it can sometimes be embarrassing asking questions about raising a child when you are already pregnant.
Besides the basics, this book also gives many alternative opportunities for child birth and gives great information on how to give birth with natural pain management for the best health for you and your baby. I didn’t think I could give birth without pain meds but this book “Childbirth Preparation Handbook” helped me realize that it can be done and it can be a great experience.
This book “Childbirth Preparation Handbook” also comes with some great extras like popular baby names, a useful toolbar and a great program that will help you drink up your daily water intake. It was an invaluable tool for my first pregnancy and I’m sure I will revert back to it for reminders if I have a second child.
