Yoga Nidra Yoga practice has helped me see and understand what it really means to relax and have a quiet mind. Now that I’ve used it for some time I’m amazed at hgow much mental noise I had. And another wonderful benefit is the fact the energy that I was previousl wasting on fear and worry is now available to use in creative and joyful ways.
The other extremely valuable benefit is what the author speaks of as ‘knowing as being’ – this is a means for understanding the deepest questions of life that cannot be resolved with the thinking mind. The truly amazing part of this is that these questions are not answered with more mental knowledge rather the relaxation and quality of being relaxed yet alert is the experiential means of resolving hese questions. In addition this process is a way to explore any question or problem that you may have.
The top 5 things that I learned from Yoga Nidra Yoga:
1) I learned just how noisy my mind is with fear and worry
2) I learned that the deepest questions of life cannot be answered by the thinking mind
3) I learned that Yoga Nidra Yoga is a means to access the ‘source’ intelligence of being
4) I learned that I can relax yet remain alert
5) I learned what it means to have a silent, peaceful mind that is open and available to see things as they are.
What I find most useful about Yoga Nidra Yoga:
The most useful thing about Yoga Nidra Yoga practice is the the peace of mind it facilitates. It is that peacefulness that now allows me to embrace all of life as it unfolds.

What I think was left out of Yoga Nidra Yoga:
One of the wondrous things about Yoga Nidra Yoga is that nothing is left out because this practice does not add anything. In other words it is not about more information or something that you are lacking instead it is all about eliminating the menttal noise and experientially enjoying a silent mind that is available to work most effectively.

Another benefit of Yoga Nidra Yoga practice is that its benefits happen immediately. The reasons for this are twofold:
first- the process itself is an experiential relaxation [relaxation is the antidote for stress] and.
