Cam Wizard is a fast and feature packed CCTV application for Windows XP and Vista.
Cam Wizard enables you to use any normal webcam as a sophisticated CCTV security device. It can capture video to your hard drive whenever motion is detected in a user defined portion of the video.
One really cool feature is “Time Slide” technology which allows Cam Wizard to start recording before the motion is detected, it uses a cyclic video buffer in your computers RAM to achieve this and is really quite clever.
Another great feature is the ability to push video and stills onto a remote FTP server so that even if your PC gets stolen you still have the video evidence safely stored remotely.
Many more features are included, it’s kind of like a CCTV Swiss Army knife capable of being set up just how you want it with Scheduling, Autostarting, Run-In-Tray and much more.
